Railway Recruitment Board Extends Age Limit for Assistant Loco Pilot Posts

The Railway Recruitment Board has announced a one-time age relaxation of three years for the candidates applying for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot under the Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) 01/2024. This decision was taken to provide relief to many candidates who may have become over-aged and have missed the opportunity to appear in recruitment in railways due to the COVID pandemic.

The candidates who are eligible as per the new age criteria can apply online through the official website of Railway Recruitment Board till February 19, 2024. The Railway Recruitment Board have also released the tentative schedule for the Computer Based Tests for the Assistant Loco Pilot post which will be held in March and April 2024.

The Assistant Loco Pilot post is one of the most sought after positions in the Indian Railways as it offers a lucrative salary and benefits. The Railway Recruitment Board have notified a total of 5696 vacancies for the Assistant Loco Pilot post across various zones and divisions of the Indian Railways.
