The Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) reported a substantial loss of ₹60 crore in FY 2020-21. The project’s slow expansion and failure to attract sufficient passengers have contributed to its struggles.
Additionally, the lack of timely government support and hasty planning have hindered its success. Despite these setbacks, there is hope for improvement with better planning and increased ridership.
