Indian Railways has taken decision to make trains private in the country for the development of infrastructure facilities and services.Indian Railways want to run the trains in public private partnership in which total number of 150 trains on many different routes.
As we all know there are already private trains running named Tejas Express after which the Indian Railways planned to run the third private train in the country named “Mahakal Express”.
So let us know more about this train that is run by the Indian Railways.This train is named as Mahakal Express for which all the arrangements by the railway administration has been done.It will run for three days in a week from Indore – Lucknow – Varanasi route and another three days from Indore – Allahabad – Varanasi route.
The main feature of this train is that the coaches of Tejas Express is not used rather than Hamsafar Express Coaches are used.So in this train we will be also having sleeper coaches with the attachment of AC coaches.This means that the people with less income can also travel in this private train.
Railway Minister Piyush Goel has told that this train is started to join two jyotirlings present in Ujjain Indore and Varanasi.This train will be the first private train that will be running at night also so that the people can travel to thier destination while sleeping in the coaches.
While the private trains that is Tejas Express which is running only at day time and the people are travelling by just sitting on their seats but this train has also the facility of sleeping in the coaches.
The full operation of this train will be carried by the IRCTC fully in the hope of starting from Shivaratri.The train working for how many days and at which time will be fully decided by the IRCTC itself.
But according to the sources they have asked the railways to provide time from 2 pm in the afternoon and 8 am in the morning so that if they start from their point of origin can reach their destination at this time.
