The tank build by the Indian Railways has a capacity of 44660 Litres which means that a total of 44660 litres of milk can be transported from one place to another at one time by one wagon.The main feature of this milk tank wagon has a double barrel shape which is made with PUF insulation with which the milk during transportation remains cooled and never gets bad in taste.
This milk tank has more features that the milk inside it never gets bas because the heat is not transferred inside it.The second most important feature of this milk tank wagon is that it is made up of stainless steel and modified bogie which can run upto a speed of 110 kilometres per hour.
