Ministry of Railways has taken this decision for the privatization of Indian Railways in which the owners who are going to undertake the specific trains will be making bids and the owner with the lowest bid will be given the charge for it.This decision of Indian Railways eill be help in developing the railways infrastructure and also help in empowerment of creating more employment in the country and the incrementation of the profits.
Indian Railways with this decision give benefits to the people by providing various types of facilities such as food, cleanliness, punctuality of the trains.This decision was taken by creating a department named Niti Ayog in which many experts have suggested measures to make Indian Railways profitable.In this they came up through a decision that the railways should work under the PPP model that is public private partnership model which will help in the development.
With this decision the companies who will be taking the trains under them will be investing their wealth to make profit for themselves as well as for railways by developing the infrastructure of Indian Railways so as to attract more people.For This the companies will improve the facilities and the punctuality of the train as that the people can reach their destination on time.
