From Kashmir to Kanyakumari this train covers across thirteen states namely Jammu and Kashmir ,Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana,Delhi, province, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana,Andra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.This train starts from Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at the hours of darkness 9:55pm and reaches on the fourth day in Kanyakumari at the hours of darkness on 10:34pm.
Between this it covers the gapof roughly 3787 kilometres in 72 hours half-hour which includes a total of 73 stops before it reach its destination.This train includes a maximum permissible speed of 110 kmph and therefore the average speed of 67 kmph.The train covers across 1000 kilometres daily which supplies the people a mesmerizing experience of the many differents cultures, languages and various varieties of foods.
