World’s Longest Railway Platform Station

As we all know our Indian Railways is full of Amazing facts that build up some of the World Records all over.
One of the World Record was the longest railway platform in the world belongs to the Indian Railways Gorakhpur Station which has thirteen hundred sixty six metres (1366m) long platform.


But today we want to inform you with new information that now this World record of the Longest Railway Platform in the World is going to be siezed from Gorakhpur Railway Station which now belong to some other Railway Station.


So Lets dicuss about this blog that why is it so due to the changes happening around the world with the change of time because before the Gorakhpur Railway Station this world record of Worlds Longest Platform was belonging to Kharagpur Railway Station afterwards it was transferred after the build up of 1366 metre Longest Railway Platform.


Now Indian Railways in South Western Railway zone at Karnataka’s Hubli Railway Station is going to build up the Worlds Longest Railway Platform.In present time the size of the first platform of the Railway Station is 550 metres which is now being build till 1400 metres whereas Gorakhpur Railway Station lenght of the platform is around 1366 metres.


With this building of Hubli Railway Station platform of lenght 1400 metres will be now known as the World’s Longest Railway Platform.In the Year 2021 its work will be completed by the Indian Railways.
In Present time there are only five platforms but the increase of the lenght of the platform there will be total of eight platforms in which on platform one total number of three trains can stop.


With this information you all must be knowing that from Gorakhpur Railway Station the World Record of being the Longest Railway platform is now siezed by Karnataka’s Hubli Railway Station.This brings us knowledge of the updating changes taking place in the Indian Railways and also helping country to grow and prosper around the World.This World record will help the Indian railways to create a name of fame of its services provided to the people of the country.
