Yuwa quota and Yuwa trains of Indian Yailway

The Yuva Quota is a special reservation category in Indian Railways designed for unemployed individuals aged 18-45 years. This quota ensures that 10% of the seats in designated Yuva Trains are reserved for this demographic, offering concessional fares to make travel more affordable.

Yuva Trains were introduced to provide low-cost, air-conditioned travel options for the youth, unemployed, and migrant labor. These trains aim to facilitate easier and more economical travel for those who need it most. An example is the Bandra Terminus–Hazrat Nizamuddin Yuva Express, which connects Mumbai and Delhi.
